Lorraine Williams Settlement Service has looked after property buyers and sellers in Perth and country WA since 1978. We settle residential, commercial, rural and vacant land, and we handle the private transfers that do not involve a real estate agent. As members of the Australian Institute of Conveyancers, we keep up to date with the rules that apply to every settlement.

Many buyers and sellers do not realise they can choose their own settlement agent. You can, and the sooner you do the better. We act for you, not for the real estate agent or the other party.

What happens at settlement

1. Engage us

Send us your signed offer and acceptance, or call us before you sign and we will look over the conditions with you.

2. We prepare

We order the searches, prepare the transfer documents and work with your lender, RevenueWA and the other party’s settlement agent.

3. We keep you posted

We keep you updated by phone and email at each stage, tell you what is needed from you and when, and confirm your settlement figures before the day.

4. Settlement day

Every settlement we handle is completed electronically through PEXA. We confirm the funds and tell you as soon as it is done.
